2 Chia Pudding Recipes |Fruit and Nut Chia Pudding |Chocolate Chia Pudding

Chia seed pudding is an easy , wholsesome and healthy breakfast option  and the use of coconut milk or nut milk makes it  suitable for people on various different diets. The flavour combination and the choice of the nuts and fruits is completely left upto you. 


As its the season of Strawberries🍓🍓🍓, I am pairing the simple chia pudding with strawberry puree🍓🍓, cut fruits and nuts.

 I have also given the ingredients and method for making chocolate chia pudding. 


Lets jump into the basic ingredients 
 
Serving - 2
Ingredients 
cup Dairy free milk (Almond milk/cashew milk/coconut milk) 
tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp Maple syrup/Honey 
tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 cup strawberries🍓🍓(sliced/chopped) or mangoes 🥭🥭(diced) 
Additional fruits (optional) 
Kiwi🥝/Banana🍌/Dragon fruit 

Garnish 
Grated nuts(almonds, walnuts, pistachios) 


Method 

Step 1
Add the chia seeds, coconut milk, vanilla essence and maple syrup to a bowl and stir together till the chia seeds are well mixed orselse will form clumps when set. Let it sit for 15 minutes, then stir again. 
Step 2
Transfer them into 2 glasses or jars and  place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight. Check once and if it has thickened pour the strawberry puree or chopped strawberries and fruits. As it's a breakfast alternative it can be made overnight for relishing  in the next morning.

Step 3
Stir the chia pudding before serving and add your favorite nuts.
            For chocolate chia pudding 

Ingredients 
cup Dairy free milk (Almond milk/cashew milk/coconut milk)
1- 2 tbsp  cocoa powder*
2 tbsp maple syrup/Honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup chia seeds
Garnish
Cut Fruits/ Grated chocolate/whipped cream/grated nuts

Notes 
* the amount of cocoa will depend on the individuals taste and preference. 

Method 
Step 1
In a bowl add the cacoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, dairy-free milk and chia seeds. Whisk together until all ingredients are combined.
Step 2
After 15 minutes, whisk it together one more time. Transfer into 2 jars/glasses and  place it in the refrigerator overnight or a minimum of 4 hours. 
Step 3
Remove the pudding from the fridge and stir together with a spoon. Top with your favorite fruit, nuts or other garnishes.
