Creamy White Gravy

Serves – 3

Ingredients

Onions chunks – 1 large or 2 small

Green chillies – 2no(slit)

Bayleaf – 1no(optional)

Green cardamom – 2nos

Cinnamon -small piece

Cloves-2nos

Black pepper-2 nos

Cumin seeds-1tsp

Garlic chopped – 2tsp

Ginger chopped – 1tsp

Almonds– Handful (soak and peeled)

(If not on low carb one can use cashews instead)

Kasuri methi

Cream -1tbsp

Water 

Salt

Oil

Paneer cubes/ mushroom(200gms) / eggs(4)

Method

Step 1

To prepare the curry add onions, chillies,almonds, bayleaf, cardamom, ginger, garlic, cinnamon,clove, pepper and cumin seeds along with some water in a deep pan. Cover and boil till the onions are tender. Strain the contents to remove all water. Also remove bayleaf and green chilli and add the onions to a blender along with cream and a little water( use the strained water) .



Step 2 

Take a pan add a tbsp oil to which add the blended mixture along with some salt and kasuri methi.

Saute the mushroom or paneer with some butter before adding it to the curry. 

Or 

Can add the boiled eggs directly (make 2 to 3 small vertical cuts on the egg)

Cook for 5 to 7 mins and remove it to bowl.Also sprinkle with some black pepper powder and serve.
