Stuffed Mushrooms in Air Fryer|Cream cheese Stuffed Mushrooms


These Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms make the perfect simple appetizer! Made with herb-seasoned cream cheese, button mushrooms and parmesan, this easy recipe delivers BIG flavor in every bite.It takes less than 10 minutes of prep time and 8 minutes to cook - Quick and Easy!



INGREDIENTS 
12 whole fresh mushrooms, tough ends trimmed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
200g  cream cheese, softened
¼ cup grated mozarella cheese
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Salt and pepper 


METHOD 
Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Carefully break stems from mushrooms. Finely chop stems and set caps aside.


Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry chopped mushroom stems and garlic in hot oil until any moisture has disappeared, taking care not to burn the garlic.


Stir cream cheese, cheese, salt,black pepper,  into the cooled mushroom mixture until very thick and completely mixed. Add the chooped corainder leaves and mix well. 

Use a small spoon to fill each mushroom cap with a generous amount of stuffing. Arrange stuffed mushrooms on the prepared cookie sheet.


Bake in the preheated oven until piping hot and liquid starts to form under each cap, about 20 minutes.

Or 

Air Fry Pre heat air fryer at 180 C for  3 to 4  minutes. Place stuffed mushrooms in the basket (spacing evenly) and close VERY GENTLY to make sure the mushrooms stay stuffing side up.

Cook 6 to 8 minutes (smaller mushrooms might be done in 6 to 7 minutes, whereas medium sized ones will take 7 to 8 minutes), until the topping is nicely browned.
Serve hot!
