👩🍳 Join me in the kitchen as we dive into the world of deliciousness. Mixing ragi flour with the goodness of ripe bananas, we're about to create a treat that's not just healthy but also incredibly tasty. 😋🥞
Ingredients
1 Ripe Banana
½ cup Ragi Flour
1/4 cup powdered jaggery
2 to 3 tablespoon Milk
1 tablespoon Ghee
1 pinch Salt optional
Method
Take ripe banana and use a fork to mash the banana. Once mashed add the ragi flour and powdered jaggery. Mix well.
Add a pinch of salt as well as it enhances the sweetness. Add milk 1 tablespoon at a time and mix till it resembles a thick pourable batter. If too thick, adjust the consistency by adding more milk.
Heat a kuzhi paniyaram or appe pan and brush ghee in each indent. Pour the batter (only after the appe pan is well heated) directly into the indents till they fill the indent to the brim.
Cook for 2 to 3 mins over low flame. Flip each appam in its own indent with the help of a spoon or pin.
Let the other side cook for 1 min and remove on to a plate. Continue with the rest of the batter.
Enjoy these aromatic instant ragi sweet appe piping hot.
