Dahi Ki Sabzi | Quick Sabzi
Dahi ki sabzi is a yogurt dish prepared with cooking yogurt in a masala of spices along with somw red onions. It is a quick to prepare and delicious dish which you can prepare at a short notice and tastes delish with rice and paratha.
Ingredients
2.5 cups yogurt whisker (dahi)
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 green chilli, slit
1 sprig curry leaves ( optional)
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 to 2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Method
1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds. Add green chili , curry leaves and onion, mix,sauté and cover and cook till onion turns golden.
2. Add chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and mix well and saute till the rawness of the masala reduces.
3. Add the yogurt, mix and cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add garam masala powder and salt and mix well.Cook for a minute.Serve hot with rice and garnish with a coriander leaves.
