Air-Fryer Roasted Vegetables


Air-Fryer Vegetables is a  perfectly easy and natural  way to make vegetables that are roasted with a little bit of crunch! Just add and switch spices to change the flavor. 


                  Roasted Vegetables 

For Tender Veggies like cauliflower and pumpkin

Prep veggies by chopping them to the size you want - cauliflower into florets and pumpkin into bite size cubes. Drizzle with a little oil and add the choice of herbs or seasoning. Shake the vegetables well so that its coated with the seasonings. Add to your air fryer  basket in as flat of a layer as possible and air-fry for 10 min at 160-180C and an additional 5 to 9 min. shaking the air fryer pan once or twice during cooking to promote even cooking.

180C  for 10 minutes is also something one can try but small pieces of pumpkin and cauliflower tend to burn quickly at higher temperature hence just keep an eye on it. 


Note -

* Cauliflower can get burnt so after the first 10 min check at 3 min followed by 2min and if required put for another 2 min. 

*Before adding the seasonings to the cauliflower, just add the florets into boiling water for 2 to 3 min and transfer to a bowl and keep aside. 


Firm Veggies like carrots

Prep the veggies by cutting them to the size you want (remember: smaller pieces cook faster!) Drizzle with oil, seasonings/herbs/ minced garlic or even honey and add to your air fryer in as flat of a layer as possible. Air-fry for 10 minutes @180C. Take it out, shake it well and put for another  5 or 8 or 10 min( depending on size of the carrots) , shaking the air fryer pan a few times during cooking to promote even cooking .

Note - Do not over-crowd the basket 

Note - Sprinkle Chaat masala or mint powder on basic roasted vegetables as it enhances the flavour and taste(optional)
