Gluten-Free Mug Cake


For all the  low-carb, gluten-free mug cake lovers  ❤ 

Basically all the mug cakes have the same basic ingredients 
3 tbsp Almond Flour or 1 tbsp coconut flour 
1/2 tsp baking powder 
1 tbsp melted butter 
1 tbsp cream 
1 tsp vanilla essence 
2 tbsp sweetener 
1 egg
Chocolate chips or nuts are optional 

Now incase you are making a chocolate mug cake 
Add 1 tbsp coco powder in addition to all the above ingredients 

If peanut butter mug cake 
Add 1 tbsp peanut butter 

If red velvet mug cake 
Add 1 to 1.5 tsp of coco powder 
Add a drop of red colour. 

Method 
                  Chocolate mug cake 
In a microwave safe mug, melt the butter in the microwave for 10 seconds. Add the coconut flour or almond flour, sweetener, cocoa powder, cream, baking powder, vanilla essence and beaten egg. Mix well. Microwave on high for 1 min, being sure not to overcook. Top with some free chocolate chips or nuts of desired.

                   Vanilla Mug Cake 
In a microwave safe  mug, melt the butter in the microwave for 10 seconds. Add the coconut flour or almond flour, sweetener, baking powder, vanilla, cream and beaten egg. Mix well. Microwave on high for 1 min and top it with sugar free chocolate chips or  nuts of desired. 

                     Peanut Butter Mug Cake 
In a microwave safe  mug, melt the butter in the microwave for 10 seconds. Add the coconut flour or almond flour, sweetener, baking powder, vanilla, cream and beaten egg. Mix well. Add in the peanut butter and  microwave on high for 60 seconds

                        Red Velvet Mug Cake 
In a microwave safe mug, melt the butter in the microwave for 10 seconds. Add the coconut flour or almond flour, sweetener, baking powder, vanilla, cream, coco powder and beaten egg. Mix well. Add in the red colour and  microwave on high for 60 seconds. 

One can top it with some white chocolate or low carb chocolate sauce or even cream cheese frosting.
