Kesar Badam Overnight Oats|Saffron Cardamom overnight chia oats (REFINED SUGAR FREE)
Looking for a breakfast dish that tastes like dessert, this is it. The flavors – saffron and cardamom, topped with almonds and seeds resemble the Indian dessert kheer. However this dish is so healthy. It’s a cross between a chia pudding and overnight oats.
So give this Kesar Badam overnight oats a try
1 cup rolled oats
4 tbsp chia seeds
2 cup unsweetened milk of choice
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 pinch saffron
3 tbsp date syrup or maple syrup
Toppings
Chopped almonds and seeds
Method
In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, chia, date syrup, milk , cardamom powder.
Add the saffron strands in a little bit of milk, mix and add this to the oat mixture.
Mix well and refrigerate overnight.
Before serving, top with chopped almonds and nuts and an extra drizzle of date syrup!
