Peanuts Crusted Paneer|Air-fried Paneer Recipe

This Peanuts crusted Paneer is  a savory fusion Indian snack and can be served deliciously on its own, or with light and cold yogurt  dips. The original recipe is by Chef Sneha Singhi which looks the part hence gave it a try with few tweaks here and there. The original recipe calls for pan frying the paneer which I have substituted with the one and only air-fryer. It also calls for malai or cream but I have omitted as not fond of  malai at all. In place of this have added slices of cheese which gives a ozzing and rich touch to the snack.
Also,on top of being a satisfying appetizer it is gluten-free, vegetarian, and high in protein.

So lets dive in ..

Serves 2
Ingredients
 For the  Coriander chutney
1/2 cup fresh Coriander
1 inch Ginger
 3-4 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp jeera
 Salt
Lemon juice
1/4 tsp chaat masala
Other ingredient
 200g paneer
Black Salt
1/2 cup Peanuts-crushed
1 cheese slice
Oil for brushing

Method

1.Add everything except lemon juice, in a blender and give it a good mix. Now add lemon juice once done.Check the seasonings and the green chutney is ready, keep it aside.

2. Slice the paneer through the middle and spread some green chutney on 9ne side ( mixed with a pinch of black salt) and a slice of cheese.

3. Place the paneer into a bowl and cover it with green chutney on both the sides. Place it on the crushed peanuts and press it down, covering both sides.

4. Heat some oil/butter in a pan, and cook gently on both sides till the peanuts are slightly brown. Once done sprinkle with chaat masala.

Or

Preheat airfryer at 160 C , brush some oil and place it on a silicon mat and airfry ay 160 C for 8-10min
Check at 5 min mark as the peanuts do have a chance of getting burnt .
Enjoy hot and serve it with a yogurt dip.
