Choco Lava Cake |Healthy Chocolate Lava Cake (Eggless)|Oats Cake
When you are a sweet-toothed person then your meal is not complete without having a dessert and when you love chocolate then you can’t deny the luxurious sinful chocolate lava cake. So let's make a lava cake that is free of guilt and is made with wholesome healthy ingredients.
The chocolate literally oozes out from the center of these lava cakes creating a molten stream of chocolate that mixes with the soft and fluffy cake. Servings 1-2 ( depending on the size of your muffin mould /ramekin)
Ingredients
1/2 cup rolled oats or quick oats
1 tbsp sweetener of choice ( I have used jaggery powder)
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1⁄2 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
3 tbsp Thick yogurt
1/3 cup milk( room temperature)
Vanilla Essence 1/2 tsp
Chocolate Lava Filling
1 tbsp thick chocolate spread( store bought or homemade) - the required amount can be kept in the freezer for 5 to 8 minutes
Method
1.Preheat oven to 180 CÂș
2.Add to a blender rolled or quick oats, sweetener of choice, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Blend all the dry ingredients into a fine powder mixture.
3.Now add the wet ingredients that is yogurt milk and vanilla essence. Process until smooth.
4.Transfer the batter to your muffin moulds by adding 1 tbsp chocolate spread in the middle.
5. Bake in oven for 20 – 25 minutes.
