Low Carb Lettuce Burgers|Vegetarian Burger
Enjoy all the burger flavors at home with these easy to make Lettuce Wraps! They’re loaded up with soft and crispy paneer slices, creamy hung curd mustard sauce and crunchy fresh veggies like capsicum, cucumber and onion.
These are sooooo good.
So lets dive in
Ingredients for 2 burgers
4 to 6 large lettuce leaves
200 g paneer or tofu sliced into 2
Half a Cucumber sliced
Half a onion sliced
Half a capsicum sliced
6 tbsp of Any mayo or burger sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Herbs and seasoning of choice
Optional : The burger sauce I made
4 tbsp hung curd
1 /2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp mustard sauce
Black pepper and salt
Method
1.Mix everything for the burger sauce and keep it in the fridge till assembling
2.Take the slices of paneer or tofu , sprinkle some salt, Pepper and chilli powder and either place it on a non-stick skillet over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes or airfry at 200 C for 5 minutes.
3.Flip the paneer or tofu and and cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Place 1 slice of cheese or grated mozzarella on top of the slices and cook an additional 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
4.To assemble the burger place one lettuce leaf at the bottom followed by the cooked paneer slices. Place the veggies followed by the burger sauce and serve.
It's messy but yummy.
Note incase the lettuce leaves are very thin you can place 2 to 3 leavesatnthe bottom and top so that it can hold the contents.
