Paneer Samosa Recipe with Airfryer Option ( Oat flour Samosa)

Crispy ,crunchy with soft paneer will satisfy everyone. Serve it as a tea time snack with green chutney or tamarind date chutney and a cup of hot tea.
Ingredients 

Oat Dough 
2.5 cups rolled oats 
1/2 Tsp Ajwain (carom seeds)
Salt 
1.5 cups hot water 

Paneer Stuffing 
1 tablespoon oil
250 gram Paneer
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 cup Onions(finely chopped)
1 green chilli finely chopped 
1/2 to 1 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp lemon juice 
Salt and black pepper to taste

Oil or ghee for brushing 


OAT DOUGH
Blend the rolled oats and sieve the oat flour .
Crush and add the carom  seeds or ajwain followed by salt .
Now add the hot water in  small quantities and keep mixing. Now  cover it with a cloth or lid and let it rest fir 10 -15 minutes .
After the resting period, knead till it forms a soft dough. 


PREPARE THE PANEER FILLING
Heat little oil in a pan over moderate
flame. Add the cumin seeds and fry it for 30
seconds. Then add the onions, green chillies
and saute for a minute or two. Add red chilli
powder, lemon juice, salt and paneer. Mix
the ingredients properly and stir-fry for a
minute. Once done, remove from flame.

PREPARE THE SAMOSA

Prepare small balls of the dough and roll them in small/medium puris( small circle). Cut them into half using a knife. Take one half of the puri and shape it into cones using edge of your palm.Stuff it with 1 tablespoon of this paneer mixture. Fold and seal the edges with little water.


AIRFRY THE SAMOSA 

Place the samosa into the airfryer basket and brush some oil or ghee over the samosas.

 Air fry or bake at 180 C for 20 mins until the samosas are evenly golden brown, flipping sides in between.
