Popular Paneer Tikka Subway|Healthy Vegetarian Sub
This is a Subway-inspired Sandwich with a twist as this paneer tikka subway sandwich combines the classic North Indian flavors with soft, delicious and spiced cubes of paneer sandwiched between fresh veggies in a hot or soft multigrain roll!
The recipe has been tweaked and created after going through a lot of recipes available online and unlike a typical paneer tikka sub this recipe for Paneer tikka doesn’t call for too many ingredients and can totally be adapted and changed to suit individuals taste snd diet.
This delicious paneer tikka sandwich is everything that you would need in a good and fresh healthy sandwich🥪🍞.

Ingredients
Hung Curd/Greek yogurt - 1/4 cup
Ginger - garlic paste - 2 tsp
Oil -1 tbsp
Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp o
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Amchur powder/Dry mango powder 1 tsp
Kasuri Methi - 2-3tsp
Salt
Paneer 200 gm - cube
Onions ( small) cubed
Method
1.In a large bowl, add the hung curd and ginger garlic paste along with the powdered spices. While making the paste add 1Tbsp oil.
2. Add the paneer and onion cubes and mix to coat well. Let the paneer marinate for around 2 to 3 hours.
Firstly, set a pan and add oil and add the marinated paneer and onions, stir and cook well on high heat for 3-4 minutes. The paneer tikka is ready, keep aside till the assembling of the sub.
Or
The airfryer method
Place a silicon mat and add the marinated paneer and onions. Preheat for 2 minutes and Air-Fry the tikka for 8 minutes at 180C.Check at 5 minutes and turn it/ flip it around and put it back for another 2 to 3 minutes. The paneer tikka is ready, keep aside till the assembling of the Sub.
Ingredients for Paneer Tikka Subway
Footlong bread loaf
Lettuce
Capsicum( long slices)
Tomato ( thin slices)
Cucumber (thin slices)
Olives (optional)
Paneer Tikka
Cheese slices
Tandoori /Classic /Mint Mayo(either one or all the three mayos can be used)
Salt, Black pepper and red chilli flakes
Method:
Slice the bread loaf in two halves keeping the end intact. Add the mayo and cheese followed by lettuce leaves, cucumber, tomato, capsicum.
Add the paneer tikka followed by a sprinkle of salt, black pepper powder and red chilli flakes.
Note - you can tweak the addition of the fillings as per your preference.
Your paneer tikka subway style is ready🥪🍞.
Note - you can also toast the bread or place in the airfryer for 3 to 4 minutes(to get the cheese to melt)
