Watermelon Juice

The watermelon juice is a perfect  and refreshing summer drink and using the inherent sweetness of the fruit makes it a an ideal healthy no-sugar drink.You can  add a little black salt, chaat masala, fresh mint leaves, chopped ginger, or lemon juice while making the juice. These ingredients not only change the tastes slightly but have their own health benefits although the favourite one at home is with lime juice and mint. 


Ingredients  
4 cups Watermelon (cubed) 
2 tablespoons Lemon juice or lime juice

Method
1.Chill the watermelon prior to juicing.
Keep the watermelon in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours so that it is nicely chilled

2.Wash the watermelon, peel it and cut it into 1-inch cubes.

3.Take watermelon cubes in a blender along with lemon juice. Blend it until smooth.
Blend for 10-12 seconds. Do not over blend otherwise the seeds will also blend along with the pulp.

4.Place a fine-mesh strainer over the large bowl, pass the juice through the strainer. Use the spatula/laddle to push the juice through the strainer.

5.Discard the pulp and pour the juice into the glass and serve. Serve cold
