Millet Pulao Recipe (Kodo Millet Pulao)

Ingredients
2 tablespoon Ghee 
1 inch Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Fennel seeds 
1 bay leaf
1 cup  Kodo millet
1 & ½ cups Water
1 cup Mixed vegetables Chopped Carrot, beans, green peas, capsicum,  broccoli( anything works)
1 Onion finely chopped 
1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
2 Green chilli, chopped 
Salt, turmeric powder and pepper powder 

Method 
Heat a small pressure cooker firstly with ghee.Then, in medium flame, add cinnamon, fennel, chili and bay leaf.
After that, add onion and give it a stir. Then, add ginger garlic paste.Fry furthermore for a minute in medium flame.

Then add the chopped veggies.
Continue frying in medium flame for about 2 mins. You can add a little salt, turmeric powder and pepper powder for the veggies.

After that, add washed, drained millet to it and mix well. Let it become dry. 
Then add water and bring to boil.
Mix well and cook for a whistle in medium or low flame or in low flame possible for 12 mins. While cooking the millets, let the flame be low to ensure even cooking.

Serve hot with curd, pickle and roasted chickpeas.
